Abstract

Coherent structures in the CT-6B tokamak plasma turbulence aredetected by using conditional averaging. The results show that thecoherent structures are short-lived and do not propagate in the radialdirection. The biorthogonal decomposition technique is adopted toanalyse further the coherent structure in the turbulence. The timeevolution and spatial distribution of the coherent structures areobtained.
