Abstract

This paper presents a concurrent dual-band graphene based tunable band-pass filter. The graphene based microstrip transmission line has been observed and analyzed. The microstrip waveguides at input as well as output have been considered for feed. The microstrip line discontinuities along with their S-parameters have been discussed. The two simultaneous bands in the graphene based band-pass filters have been achieved at the center frequencies 5.8734 THz and 9.0189 THz. The tunability can be achieved with the help of variation in chemical potential in the terahertz frequency regime. A wideband in the GHz frequency range appears to be narrowband in the THz frequency range.
