Abstract

This concluding chapter draws implications for understanding gender politics and policy in Europe in times of crisis. The picture that emerges from the analysis shows patterns of political and institutional dismantlement of gender equality policies, perpetuation of old gendered dynamics that the crisis has revitalized in both new and old political formations, and civil society’s struggles against the neoliberal project and discourses.
