Abstract

AbstractThis concluding chapter highlights what marks a home from a non-home, arguing that this involves more than one element. Home is also bound up with social relations and material things that need to be considered within wider socio-political environments and politics and that shape what we call in this book ‘structural im/possibilities of home in migration’. This chapter synthesises the core the arguments presented in the book and argues that the emerging field of home and migration has potential for development in the future that is packed with yet unknown and unexplored possibilities. This short reader offers an opening into this expanding area of study.
