Abstract

Pomme et al. have recently analyzed one year of GSI (Geological Survey of Israel) radon data, and claimed that “GSI radon measurements are unsuited for studying the variability of decay constants because the data are strongly influenced by environmental conditions such as solar irradiance and rainfall” [1]. They also claim that “the existence of cyclic variations in the decay constant is refuted.” We find that these claims are not supported by analysis of GSI data.
