Abstract

Chinese Fusion Engineering Testing Reactor (CFETR) is a superconducting Tokamak reactor. In order to research and validate the technology of Central Solenoid (CS) superconducting coils for CFETR, a Central Solenoid Model Coil (CSMC) has been designing and constructing, which is made of Nb 3 Sn/NbTi and operated by forced-flow cooling with supercritical helium (SHe). In this paper, the process of cryogenic distribution system for CFETR CSMC is described and the process operation is presented. The control system is designed based on EPICS (Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System). Operation modes are analyzed and divided into 20 normal phases and 9 abnormal phases. Control sequence is defined to make control logic clear according to the hierarchy of operation modes. This conceptual design will guide the project implementation.
