Abstract
The article analyzes the domestic and foreign experience of higher education fund-ing. The basic principles and mechanisms of public administration funding of higher edu-cation institutions are outlined. The main components of the recommended three-component model of funding in the framework of higher education reform are identified, as well as the conditions and positive consequences of implementation of this model in Ukraine.
