Abstract

The article presents a change in the business model and business practices after the 2008 global economic crisis. The retrospective of the emergence of Industry 4.0 concept as a new (fourth) industrial revolution is analyzed. Three main trends of industrial development are examined: 1) Digitalization of production processes; 2) use of new materials; 3) intelligent environments. The list of the latest technology Industry 4.0 is presented. The trends of the production base transformation on the period of Industry 4.0 development are described. Classification of segments of Industry 4.0 business model in Ukraine is carried out. The development of the Ukrainian industry since 1990 has been described in five stages: intermediary, service, industrial, research and innovative. On the foresight basis, possible clusters of Ukrainian industrial production development for the period of Industry 4.0 are offered.
