Abstract

An updating course for secondary school teachers was designed with the purpose of producing a change in teachers’ learning and teaching concepts. The course took the class plan and its continuous reformulation as an object of discussion , and at the same time led to build up the criteria which were necessary for reaching the meaningful learning. The results which were obtained enable the identification of some of the elements of the teachers’ performance which may control and conduct learning in a way which is coherent with a constructivistic conception of knowledge acquisition.
