Abstract

AbstractOn the basis of the results of magnetic susceptibility, neutron scattering, and thermopower investigations it is shown that anomalies in the isotherms of μeff., μz, and in the thermoelectric coefficient of magnetic semiconductors may be explained assuming that a concentrational phase transition takes place. In solid solutions of the type Cr2–xTixO3 this phase transition is accompanied by the conversion of the collinear antiferromagnetic structure into a noncollinear antiferromagnetic one.
