Abstract
We investigate theoretically the influence of copper ions valence fluctuations on magnetic interactions in superconducting mixed-valent copper-oxides. The magnetic properties of these materials are explained in terms of mutual competition of double-exchange and superexchange interactions. By mean field arguments we show that the high T c superconductors should exhibit ferro- + antiferromagnetism coexistent state.
