Abstract

AbstractCd—Zn single crystals were deformed in creep at temperatures between 1.5 K and 50 K. The from the creep experiments established critical resolved shear stress (CRSS) increases with cn where c is the atomic concentration of zinc as solute. The exponent n was found to be close to 2/3, i.e. the concentration dependence of the CRSS can be explained according to the theory of LABUSCH.
