Abstract

The critical concentrations of an SBS copolymer in cyclohexane, carbon tetrachloride, toluene, tetralin and cyclohexanone were determined. Using an equation proposed by Cornet, it was shown that at the critical concentrations the unperturbed root mean square end to end distances were, within experimental error, the same as that found for dilute solutions, indicating that the interpenetrating conformation of the blocks established for dilute solutions was maintained up to at least the critical concentrations.
