Abstract

The aim of this text is to analyze the evolution of the private radio in Andalusia from the constitution of the first autonomous government. The article bears in mind the political and economic dimensions of this development; especially, we examine the different allocations of radio licenses as central elements to understand the process of concentration that is observed in the Andalusian radio broadcasting industry and the marginal character of the local independent stations.
