Abstract

Near-eye augmented reality display is a promising technology which has developed rapidly in recent years. We present a concave pin-mirror for near-eye display based on the simple concave reflective mirror. This whole system has the same size as the normal glasses, with the field of view theoretically reaching 88°, as well as its prototype of 48°. The proposed system can meet the requirements with the light, convenience, large field of view for near-eye display. It is expected that our proposed method provides a new view for future near-eye display.
