Abstract

Conventional imaging systems give poor results unless there is a sharp optical image with high signal-to-noise ratio. Contemporary computational methods enable the recovery of images from very weak signals, such as small numbers of photons in single-photon lidar and diffusely reflected light for non-line-of-sight imaging.
