Abstract
Dr. Bobrow's paper is a contribution to a body of literature distinguished by its paucity. As a contribution to current attempts to resurrect, rediscover, or spawn a new body of knowledge called the policy sciences, it is a useful foundation that should be built on through intensive, rigorous research into the likely role of the computer in improving the public policymaking processes. The paper raises indirectly a number of questions that could be researched profitably. These questions relate to: The ball seems to be at the feet of the public policymaker and the educator to expand on Bobrow's theme.
