Abstract
The Orange County Central Land Records System is a comprehensive integrated computerized system designed to bring all land records of a local government together for both information processing and information retrieval. It was designed and developed, as a part of the HUD R.E.S.P.A. Program to demonstrate modern land record systems, by Orange County Land Records and Data Processing staff. It is the first computerized parcel indexing system to be operating in a deeds registry in North Carolina.
