Abstract
A three-beam two-channel laser Doppler anemometer has been developed containing a computerized processor for the integral spectral-type signal, which is based on an IBM PC and NVL-02 interface board. A study is made on how misalignment in the optical circuit affects the measurement error. Results are given and methods are considered for parametric identification and computer visualization of turbulence characteristic profiles in a sheathed axisymmetric liquid jet.
