Abstract

Abstract Five stroke patients were studied over time with computerized EEG topography, standard EEG readings and behavioural testing. The computerized EEG values and the standard EEG readings corresponded to behavioural determination of improvement, but not always to each other. For two patients, who demonstrated improvement on all three measures, computerized EEG topography values suggested bilateral improvement. Implications for the early spontaneous recovery period are discussed.
