Abstract

Universities' reliance on E-Learning platforms is increasing every day. E-Learning platforms speed up the assessment process and reduce the amount of work required by universities' teachers. Although E-Learning platforms have succeeded in assessing many areas and domains, they lack the ability to assess certain skills and concepts. In this paper, a solution is proposed to address the Assessment problem in E-Learning platforms for advanced computer programming skills. Unlike many computer-based assessment systems for programming skills assessment, the proposed prototype system offers the ability to evaluate advanced programming skills related to program efficiency design and analysis aspects in an automatic approach. This makes it convenient for universities teaching advanced programming concepts such as data structure and algorithm.
