Abstract

The paper considers the issues of computer-aided engineering design of main aviation engine units by the example of thermo-gas-dynamic calculations and strength analysis simulation of compressors of the afterburning turbofan engine for modern high-maneuverable turbojet aircrafts. It is developed on the base of the Framework SAMCTO with the help of imitating simulation system of aviation engine DVIGw AM expert system. These system enables execution of thermo-gas-dynamic calculation of aviation engines with different schemes and principles of action, automatic creation of structural images of its main units, computing thermal, inertial and gas-dynamic stress of the main elements of engine air-gas channel, estimating strength of details and selection of materials for main parts and assembly units. The article provides an example of low and high-pressure compressors modeling of afterburning turbofan engines and compares the construction of real engines with that introduced with expert system. The use of expert system when developing aviation engines allows optimizing of their construction and greatly reducing the phase of projection and product adjustment.
