Abstract

Numerical simulation shows that the acoustoelectric current noise about the steady state saturated current in piezoelectric semiconductors is caused by the electron transfer processes where bunches of electrons trapped in potential troughs coupled to amplified acoustic waves via the piezolectric effect are transferred chaotically to their neighboring troughs.
