Abstract

A discrete Hopfield-type neural network with constant delays, instan-taneous switching topologies at certain times and time variable connection weights isstudied. Several models for the neural network are considered to illustrate the influ-ence of different factors on the behavior of the solutions. These factors include theinitial conditions, the impulsive conditions, the activation functions and the number ofagents in the network. Each model is computer realized by coding the correspondingalgorithms for calculating the values of the solution for each step.
