Abstract
Computer simulation of optical radiation attenuation in dispersed system «coal dust-air» is performed. Basic analytical relationships which describe the radiation attenuation in the gas-dispersed system are determined. Checking of the computer model adequacy is carried out. Research of optical radiation attenuation on the basis of computer simulation is carried out. Computer simulation is executed on the basis of Mie theory and BHMIE algorithm. Results of calculations on the basis of Mie theory and the experimental data, describing optical radiation attenuation, are coordinated with each other. Optical radiation attenuation can be characterized through absorbance of medium. The intermediate medium (dispersed system «coal dust-air») essentially limits application of electro-optical gauges. It is necessary to consider at use of gauges for the control of occurrence of the fires at various technological processes. Results of modeling will be used for increase of a noise stability of electro-optical gauges.
