Abstract
This paper presents the results of computer programs to simulate foot-and-mouth disease vaccine potency tests. The user can easily change the test parameters such as the number of test animals and the dilution factor of the vaccine. The programs allow the user to increase his comprehension of the importance of sampling variation in vaccine testing, due to the relatively small number of animals in the test.
