Abstract

In this article, a few steps towards the computer-aided modeling and simulation of 3D complex material devices are presented. User-friendly program package for simulation, analysis, design, and optimization of wide variety of such devices has been created. The devices are based on periodic structures of doped elements which are responsible for chirality and/or other complex properties. It is proposed, that complex parameters of the base dielectric, together with specially fit doped structural elements create the rest properties of the complex materials. Computer-aided 3D numerical simulation and design can be used to derive more effective models for circuit or system-level analysis. The method of auxiliary sources (MAS) is applied to simulate EM fields in forenamed structures
