Abstract
In October 1992, the DTI published a report 1 reviewing the application of the Computer Misuse Act 1990. At international level, the International Association of Penal Law (AIDP) held a sequence of conferences on Computer Crime in Germany. Both events cause concern to those interested in implementing an effective policy to fight computer misuse in Britain and abroad. Part I of this report analyses the findings of the DTI report and Part II analyses the outcome of the AIDP Conference.
