Abstract

Many types of meteorological, environmental and boundary layer wind tunnels have been constructed to simulate atmospheric phenomena on buildings, structures and the transport of air pollutants. New types of two- and three-dimensional wind tunnels which have multiple-fans controlled by a computer, have been constructed in our laboratory. To simulate the required wind structure in the wind tunnel, each fan is controlled independently, and turbulence is produced in mean wind velocity profiles.
