Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the biomechanics of one of the technically difficult sports - pole vaulting. The research is based on the methods of computer and computational modeling. For computer modeling, the KiDyM software package is used, which uses the relations of the computer algebra system to construct differential equations of motion of complex mechanical systems. The basic relations for studying the dynamics of mechanical systems by means of the KiDyM software package are given. A computational scheme has been created that allows one to study the biomechanics of motion of an athlete in the repulsion phase and flight with a pole. The analysis of the influence of some parameters of sports action on sports results was carried out.
