Abstract

The basics of myoelectric signals are reviewed. Surface myoelectric signal analysis is discussed, focusing on processing techniques. Two needle electromyography techniques are described to show typical requirements for a computer system used in this field. The use of expert systems is briefly considered.< <ETX xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">></ETX>
