Abstract

The details of a software package developed and implemented on a CDC Cyber computer for the overcurrent and distance relay coordination process are presented. Description about the data base system using RIM is also included. These programs are applied to a 115 kV test system with six buses and seven lines. The computer results are compared to the existing manual settings and the successful performance of the programs is verified.
