Abstract

This paper is dealing with the application of linearizing control to bioprocesses and with the development of a software helping bioengineers in design such control. Static feedback linearization of bioprocesses is studied by considering a generic model and possible control variables (dilution rate, feeding rates or feeding concentrations). A linearizability test is automatically realized by the software and when the system is linearizable, the linearizing control is automatically computed. This software enables bioengineers to design a linearizing control easily without knowing all details of the underlying control theory.
