Abstract
Fifteen children who presented with acute hemiparesis and basal ganglionic infarction were studied by computed tomography and arteriography (11 patients). Arteriography demonstrated focal vascular disease in 10 patients. Current management of these pediatric patients requires computed tomography, arteriography and complete laboratory investigation.
