Abstract

Computationally efficient simulation-driven design of ultra-wideband planar antennas is presented using Cauchy-based surrogate models of the coarsely-discretized antenna electromagnetic models.Verification of the proposed methodology is performed with satisfactory designs obtained at a computational cost of a few evaluations of high-fidelity antenna models. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
