Abstract

The magnetic permeability of composite soft materials is investigated using a numerical model. The model has been specifically developed to study the effect of intergranular interactions. The magnetic properties of densely packed nanocomposite granular are significantly affected by interactions between the grains. In particular, we focus on the effect of grain shape and microstructure on the permeability. The influence of packing density on the initial susceptibility is investigated.
