Abstract

A computational experimental method for evaluation of the number of active abrasive grains with statistically uniform distribution over the material bulk is described. The method was used to study changes in concentration of active grains in grinding powders of natural and synthetic diamonds with different dispersion in PTFE-based composites under friction and wear.
