Abstract

Acoustic Green's function allows the analysis of localisation of acoustic modes and of their possible confinement. Electromagnetic Green's function allows a consistent analysis of both scattering mechanisms (elasto-optic and ripple) and their interference. The computed cross-section is directly comparable with experimental spectra.
