Abstract
There are a number of factors that influence the creep of concrete-filled steel tubular arch bridges, while the related research theory lags behind the state of practice. Based on the computing formula of creep coefficient in the code, the creep function is formulated. The computing method of creep in structural analysis is deduced, using the integral concepts of stress and time. Combined with the calculation of Meixi River Bridge it is noted out that creep affects the displacement of CFST arch bridge prominently, which will lead to redistribution of internal force. This should be recognized in related engineering circles.
