Abstract
We consider the simultaneous interaction of a transparent finite plasma slab with two laser beams coming from opposite directions. We show that induced Compton scattering may produce induced reflections of the beams on each other. As a consequence, the energy flux through the slab has an upper limit, however large the intensity of the beams.
