Abstract
SIFCON (Slurry Infiltrated Fiber Concrete) is a type of high volume fiber reinforced concrete in which fibers are preplaced in the mold or on a substratum and infiltrated with cement-based slurry under vibration. The effect of fiber volume fraction on the compressive properties of SIFCON under monotonic loading is investigated in this paper. The compressive properties of SIFCON under cyclic loading are also studied and compared with that of SIFCON under monotonic loading.
