Abstract
Resonant inelastic X-ray scattering (RIXS) was measured for an insulating SrCuO 2 with changing the incident photon energy ( h ν ) near the Cu 1s absorption edge (K-edge). Spectral shape and peak positions are found to depend strongly not only on the momentum transfer Δ k but also on h ν . The peak width also was found to depend strongly upon Δ k in a good agreement with the theory.
