Abstract

B-spline interpolation is a technique of great importance in numerical analysis and computer graphics because it has high flexibility in solution and ease of estimating variables that do not exist within a range of known data points. This paper provides a good review of B-linear interpolation, covering its mathematical basis, types, applications, advantage, and challenges it faces. This paper also aims to review and broadly understand how to create B-spline interpolation, its practical use, and its importance in various scientific fields.
