Abstract

Aiming at the evaluation and screening of active power control methods for wind power cluster, a comprehensive evaluation method of active power control effect for wind power cluster based on the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and fuzzy evaluation method is proposed in this paper. Firstly, the evaluation index system is established from three aspects: safety, economy and fairness. In terms of security and stability, frequency deviation rate, voltage deviation rate and cluster output fluctuation index reflecting power quality are proposed; in terms of operation economy, corresponding indexes are established considering cluster wind curtailment rate, grid line loss rate and thermal economy of thermal power plant; and in terms of fairness of power distribution within cluster, the concept of cluster deviation is introduced. On this basis, based on the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method and the analytic hierarchy process, the active power control effect of wind power cluster is evaluated comprehensively. Finally, an example is given to verify the effectiveness of the comprehensive evaluation method described in this paper.
