Comprehensive chromosomal screening (CCS) dramatically reduces the age related increase in 1st trimester clinical losses, but has only minimal impact on biochemical losses

Abstract

The age related increase in pregnancy loss is known. Aneuploidy contributes to this rise, but the proportional impact is unknown. CCS allows investigation of pregnancy outcomes in euploid pregnancies and comparison to the outcomes following transfer of unscreened embryos. This study seeks to assess the incidence of aneuploidy and the impact it has on the extent and timing of 1st trimester pregnancy loss.
