Abstract

Myocardial deformation quantification by cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) feature tracking (FT) may prove useful in presentations of regional dysfunction following ischemic damage such as a myocardial infarction (MI). Our group previously documented regional left ventricular (LV) dysfunction in the adolescent sheep model of MI, albeit without quantitative measures [1]. Comprehensive measures by CMR-FT are important for tracking progression of injury and can be used to test efficacy of MI interventions.
