Abstract

How do you consistently and effectively manage biomed programs spread across 27 hospitals under three different supervisors? The team at the University of Vermont Technical Services Program (TSP) has spent the last few years developing and refining a system to do exactly that. Their solution—a comprehensive audit program—ensures that managers regularly review key organizational metrics at every site, systematically assessing the quality of the program and identifying opportunities for improvement. The results: better-trained employees and an improved program.
