Abstract

Abstract Dynamic properties of vibration isolators made with EPT vulcanizates may be controlled, within limits, by choice of compounding ingredients in the vulcanizate. The choice of compounding ingredients will also affect efficiency of the isolator in preventing transmission of vibrations at low temperatures. Efficiency of vibration isolation may be calculated by measuring dynamic spring rates at the temperatures of operation.
