Abstract

The composition and properties of the natural high-molecular-weight components of matrix petroleum from the Orenburg gas condensate field were studied. The group and hydrocarbon compositions and the concentrations of heteroatoms and trace elements in asphaltenes, resins, oils, and paraffins separated from a core sample by chloroform extraction were determined. Quantitative relations that describe the sorption of hydrocarbon gases and vapors by the separated substances were found.
