Abstract

AbstractObjective. To acquire information on the disease composition and entity distribution of hospitalized patients, to provide evidence for improving the service level of hospital management and strengthening disease prevention. Methods. To conduct syn-position statistical analysis on the hospitalized patients by age and gender, according to the annual statement of disease classification at our hospital, from 2008 to 2012, on the basis of ICD-10. Results. Between 2008 and 2012, the top 10 diseases accounted for 90.97% of the total diseases, of which the top 5 diseases were, respectively, circulatory diseases, respiratory diseases, digestive diseases, diseases of the urogenital system, and injury and poisoning. Respiratory diseases (26.1%), circulatory diseases (20.9%) and digestive diseases (16.8%) ranked as the top three for a long time, and circulatory diseases, diseases of the urogenital system, and injury and poisoning, had a tendency to increase.
